I note that DC Shields only ever gets one ...Andrew

I note that DC Shields only ever gets one mention in the Hutton Inquiry and that's when DC Coe is asked who he was with. Why did it take DC Coe (now retired) 7 years to admit the presence of a trainee officer? It would be the most innocuous thing to state that you had a trainee officer with you. It's not as if DC Coe had to protect the trainee from having to give evidence or anything strange like that. All evidence giving at the Inquiry was voluntary anyway.

Hutton seemed to be caught out by the non appearance of DC Coe on 2nd September. Surely it would only have taken a one sentence explanation to explain his absence but it isn't explained. Is it just a coincidence that DC Coe's evidence is heard a fortnight later immediately before that of Dr Hunt when it is pretty obvious I would have thought that media interest that day would be centred on Dr Hunt.brian in the tamar valleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13475701925894027724noreply@blogger.com
