The Guardian has an intriguing article about the alleged connection between Jack Straw and international kidnapping (aka "extraordinary rendition").
The article includes the perceptive phrase, "the British security state was out of control for a number of years".
And the death of David Kelly sits smack in the middle of those years!
No, I don't believe it either.
The Guardian article is here: Rendition: Straw in the wind.
The link in the article to information about past Colonial-period crimes which had been concealed by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office for 50 years is chilling too.
Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Did Lord Acton have a prophetic nightmare featuring Tony Blair and Jack Straw as part of the demonic cast?

So the Guardian has finally latched on to what was really going on in the UK Security Services in the run up to the invasion of Iraq!
Perhaps all those self righteous left wing journalists who have been so eager to ridicule the "conspiracy theorists" will now have to think again.
The US had embarked on a programme of rendition and torture on a global scale that we had not seen since in the West since the rise of Nazi Germany in the 1930's.
And the Her Majesty's Government just went along with it.
I have been convinced for some time that Dr Kelly's removal from circulation was all part of the grand plan.
The CIA were a lot closer than we realise.
