The death of David Kelly - Reply from Tom Mangold

Here is the reply received from Tom Mangold re my question about where he got the story about the gaffer tape being on the knife found at Harrowdown Hill.

Thank you for your enquiry.

Ever since the recent publication of the pathologists report and further details confirming beyond all doubt the suicide of David Kelly, I have decided to decline all further involvements of any sort from those who continue to believe in any other theory.

  2. Mangold said during one interview that the Hutton Inquiry had the CIA and MI6 milling around in the background -- how would he know who they were? I'm sure they didn't wear a name badge stating where they were from, so either he's just "saying stuff", or he has intelligence connections himself.

Why did all TV/radio channels wheel out Tom Mangold every time they wanted a comment backing the official line? I was told by the producer of Conspiracy Files it was very difficult to find anyone to appear on TV to back the suicide line. Why did Mangold make himself so available?

I simply don't know what Mangold's true motives are. From the e-mail exchanges I read, I didn't get the impression he was a true "friend" of David Kelly's. It came out that he only exchanged about 3 e-mails a year with him.
